The FairCopy Editor seems to be distorting my images, cutting off or stretching the right edge. Why might this be occuring? Is there something I may be doing wrong?
Hi @bch23001 !
Welcome and thanks for the question! Could you post a screenshot of what you’re seeing?

Thanks for the quick response. Here you are:
and here is a version in the manifest editor for reference:
I have a manifest that, in the Universal Viewer and Mirador is not distorted, but when I import it into FairCopy it fails to display. I can share with you the URL if you’d like.
Hello,
Yes, please do share a IIIF Manifest URL and I will investigate.
Thanks!
Nick
Here is the distorted manifest: brandonhurst01.github.io/Decay-of-Lying/manifest_test.json
Here is the one not loading: https://brandonhurst01.github.io/Decay-of-Lying/FC_manifest.json
I can’t speak to the distortion, the two images look identical to me when I compare them in Mirador and FairCopy. The issue with the second manifest is that the images are full sized jpegs rather than IIIF Image API endpoints. Presently, FairCopy does not support this. It would be a good feature to add in the future, to better support projects that are using minimal computing techniques. However, there are limitations to serving full size images in this way. Not everyone can download a 2000x1322 image performantly.
I see. Thank you for the help! Still new to the tech and figuring things out. Much appreciated.
