There’s a new version of FairCopy and you can get it now, for FREE, on our website! This new version no longer requires a license key. We have also released the source code to FairCopy under an open source license. Making FairCopy free and open source makes it easier for as many people as possible to use FairCopy and to facilitate collaboration with our academic partners.
If you currently have a paid license to FairCopy, we would like to offer you early access to FairCopy.cloud, which we are currently using for a number of client projects. FairCopy.cloud makes it easy for project teams to collaborate and publish documents to the web. Please contact us know if you would like to learn more!
FairCopy v1.2 has a number of bug fixes and improvements, but the big new feature is that you can now preview documents in EditionCrafter. We will post some more videos on how to use this new feature soon. This functionality will allow you to create digital editions online in a low cost and sustainable manner.
